Choose the Right Partner for Custom Peptide Synthesis

Why Choose BESTBELL for Custom Peptide Synthesis?

Custom peptide solutions at BESTBELL are developed to meet diverse research and production requirements across laboratory and industrial applications. From early feasibility studies to regulated manufacturing, our team supports each project with technical consistency and reliable delivery at every stage.

Moreover, with integrated R&D capabilities and GMP manufacturing infrastructure, BESTBELL serves as a long-term partner for custom peptide development rather than a single-order supplier.

End-to-End Manufacturing of Custom Peptides

BESTBELL provides end-to-end manufacturing services that cover the full spectrum of peptide complexity and production scale. Specifically, we support both simple linear sequences and highly complex modified peptides, supplying material from crude research grade through GMP-compliant quality.

To ensure optimal outcomes, our experienced synthetic chemists collaborate closely with customers to define the most suitable synthesis strategies. Whether the project involves a single custom peptide, modified or labeled peptides, or large screening libraries, each synthesis plan is tailored to clearly defined technical objectives.

At the same time, our large-scale production teams enable efficient scale-up from milligram to multikilogram quantities. Throughout scale expansion, batch-to-batch reproducibility and critical quality attributes are strictly controlled.

Integrated R&D and GMP Facilities

BESTBELL operates advanced R&D laboratories in parallel with GMP-compliant manufacturing facilities. As a result, we can rapidly deliver peptides for screening, support lead optimization programs, and respond efficiently to evolving regulatory or technical requirements.

Throughout the entire project lifecycle, our peptide specialists provide continuous technical support, beginning with early research and extending through bulk or GMP peptide supply. In addition, customers benefit from access to both custom peptide synthesis and ready-to-ship standard peptides through a single trusted partner.

Major Applications of Synthetic Peptides

1

Peptide drugs

Many peptide drug candidates are derived from chemically modified natural molecules. Therefore, synthetic peptides remain essential tools in metabolic and biomedical research programs.

2

Peptide vaccines

Peptide-based vaccine research enables precise antigen design and controlled manufacturing. Compared with traditional pathogen-based approaches, this strategy offers greater flexibility.

3

Peptides for tissue engineering

Self-assembling peptides and cell-adhesion peptides continue to expand applications in tissue engineering and regenerative science.

How to test the solubility of your custom synthetic peptide

Peptide solubility is commonly evaluated based on net charge. First, assign –1 to each acidic residue (Asp/D, Glu/E) and the terminal carboxyl group. Next, assign +1 to each basic residue (Arg/R, Lys/K, His/H) and the terminal amine.

Afterward, sum all values to determine the overall peptide charge.

If the net charge is positive, water is often suitable. However, if solubility is limited, gradual acidification using acetic acid (10–30%) may help, with TFA added if necessary.
If the net charge is negative and no cysteine residues are present, water may still be appropriate. Otherwise, ammonium hydroxide can be used to improve solubility.
