Choose the Best Peptide Synthesis Services Partner

BESTBELL peptide synthesis services support customers from early research to GMP manufacturing and

large-scale production, providing reliable and scalable services for global partners.

Why choose ‘BESTBELL’ peptide synthesis services?

We specialize in meeting our customer’s needs and delivering the highest quality peptide synthesis services. In practice, our experienced synthetic chemists work in collaboration with customers to understand their needs, whether that be a single, simple peptide, a variety of complex labeled products, or an extensive library for screening.

Moreover, we are proud to have specialist teams in our large-scale production facility to manufacture peptides at multikilogram scale. Therefore, we have the capability and expertise to perform a wide variety of chemistries and manufacturing services.

We work in our high-quality R&D laboratories and GMP facilities. In addition, we provide innovative services for lead discovery, rapidly produce peptides for screening, and support regulatory requirements with excellent customer service.

Furthermore, our peptide team provides support from lead discovery and optimization through to the supply of GMP peptides or bulk quantities. At the same time, we excel at rapid custom synthesis of peptides for research and maintain an extensive catalog of ready-to-ship peptides.

Major applications supported by peptide synthesis services

1

Peptide drugs

As a result, many peptide drugs are generated by chemical modification of natural molecules. Consequently, these drugs remain invaluable for the treatment of multiple metabolic diseases.

2

Peptide vaccines

In general, vaccines are considered one of the most successful strategies of modern medicine. However, conventional vaccines rely heavily on inactive pathogens, which makes production challenging.

3

Peptides for tissue engineering

In recent years, the discovery of cell adhesion and self-assembling peptides has opened new opportunities in tissue engineering applications.

4

Drug & Gene Delivery

Consequently, cell-penetrating peptides and self-assembling peptides are increasingly important components of advanced gene and drug delivery systems.

How to test the solubility of your custom synthetic peptide

How to test the solubility of your custom synthetic peptide

In practice, the most commonly used method to test solubility is based on charge determination. For example, for small peptides with up to five amino acids, distilled water remains the first option. For other cases, you can refer to the following guide:

  • First, attribute –1 to each acidic residue (Asp/D, Glu/E) and to the terminal carboxylic acid. Then, assign +1 to each basic residue (Arg/R, Lys/K, His/H) and the terminal amine. Finally, sum both values to determine the overall charge of your peptide.

  • If the overall charge is positive, try dissolving your peptide in water. If necessary, acidify the solution with acetic acid (10–30%). If this approach fails, add TFA to reach the required concentration.

  • Conversely, if the overall charge is negative and the peptide does not contain cysteine residues, dissolve the peptide in water. If solubility remains limited, add ammonium hydroxide to obtain the desired concentration.
